Abstract Translated from German Wäßrige Lösungen oberflächenaktiver Hydroxysulfonate werden erhalten durch Umsetzung ungesättigter Fettalkyl- oder Fettalkylpolyoxyalkylester, z.B. von Oleylacetat oder Oleylpolyoxyethyl-acetat, mit Schwefeltrioxid, Eintragen des Umsetzungsproduktes in wäßriges Alkali-, Erdalkali- oder Ammoniumhydroxid und Erwärmen der Lösung bis zur Hydrolyse der enthaltenen Ester- und Sultongruppen. Aqueous solutions of surface active hydroxysulfonates are obtained by reacting unsaturated fatty alkyl or fatty alkyl polyoxyalkyl esters, e.g. of oleate acetate or oleyl polyoxyethyl acetate, with sulfur trioxide, introduction of the reaction product into aqueous alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium hydroxide and heating the solution until hydrolysis of the ester and sulton groups contained.
