Abstract
Abstract A retractable antenna is described for a portable radio unit, the antenna essentially consisting of a telescopic rod with a head part mounted on the end. The head part of this antenna is in this case designed as a clamping part such that a wire end of a so-called throw- out antenna, which is used in addition, can be connected to the retractable antenna which is already installed in the unit, in a manner that makes a good electrical contact, and can be released from said antenna, as simply as possible. <IMAGE>
