Abstract

Abstract Translated from German Gelenkprothese aus gelochten Blechstreifen, die zur Bildung eines Hohlschaftes (2) miteinander und mit einem Kragen (1) mit Ansatz (4) zum Aufsetzen der Gelenkkugel verschweißt sind, wobei der Kragen (1) mit einer zum Inneren des Hohlschaftes (2) führenden Öffnung (3) versehen ist und die Stärke der Blechstreifen erforderlichenfalls an verschiedenen Stellen in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß verringert ist. Joint prosthesis made of perforated sheet metal strips, which are welded together to form a hollow shaft (2) and with a collar (1) with an attachment (4) for fitting the joint ball, the collar (1) having an opening leading to the interior of the hollow shaft (2) (3) is provided and, if necessary, the thickness of the metal strips is reduced to different degrees at different points.
