Claim 11
Independent Claim 87 words
A method of producing a thermal transfer printing receiver sheet for use in association with a compatible donor sheet, comprising forming a supporting substrate and providing, on at least one surface thereof, a dye-receptive receiving layer to receive a dye thermally transferred from the donor sheet, characterised in that a) the substrate comprises an opaque, molecularly oriented film of a synthetic linear polyester, and b) the at least one receiving layer has a thickness not exceeding 7.5 µm, and comprises a dye-receptive, essentially amorphous, synthetic thermoplastics polymer.
Claim 12
Claim 13
