Abstract
Abstract Hair treatment compositions in the form of aqueous, aqueous-alcoholic or emulsion-like compositions having a content of 0.1 to 8% by weight of panthenol and 0.1 to 8% by weight of a mono- or disaccharide have a regenerating effect when used on severely split hair. A further increase in the anti-hair splitting effects is achieved by additions of 0.1 to 4% by weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone and/or 0.01 to 1% by weight of a triol, for example of 3,7,11,15-tetramethyl-1,2,3-trihydroxyhexadecane (phytantriol).
