Abstract
Abstract An article (catheter, blood pouch, and the like) made of a PVC composition and at least a part of the surface of which is intended to be in contact with biological media, in particular blood and its derivatives. The PVC composition comprises, per 100 parts of PVC resin, from 10 to 90 parts of organic plasticiser and from 0.005 to 3 parts of a diorganopolysiloxane containing gamma -hydroxyalkyl gamma -carboxyalkyl groups or their alkyl esters.
