Dowel element

Abstract

Abstract For mounting insulating plates (21) on a supporting wall (22), a dowel element is used which has a sleeve-shaped section (3) following a section (2) which can spread, which projects from the wall (22) when the dowel element is installed and is provided externally with lateral ribs (4), so that a retaining disc (11) is securely seated on this section. This retaining disc (11) may be provided with a pipe connecting piece (14) on its side facing the wall (22), a profile (16) being applied to the end of the said pipe connecting piece (14), so that insulating plates (21) can be mounted whose thickness is greater than the length of the sleeve-shaped section (3). <IMAGE>
