Claim 3
Dependent Claim
151 words
The steering torque detecting device according to claim 1, characterized in that a zero point electrode (26a) having a portion extending in the circumferential direction to have a zero point contact part (26b) with a small width at its one end and a paired electrode (26c) formed radially apart from said zero point electrode (26a) are provided in the same surface as said resistance layer (15a) and said output electrode (15d) on said printed wiring board (14); said slip rings (12) are connected to said zero point electrode (26a) and said paired electrode (26c); and a zero point slider (27) is mounted on the same shaft (2) on which said slider (16) is mounted, said zero point slider (27) being such that when difference in the torque between said input and output shafts is zero, it is brought into contact with said zero point contact part and said paired electrode (26c).
