Abstract

The direct chisel drive for deep drilling tools comprises a tubular housing (1), a rotary machine (4) arranged therein, which can be driven by flowing drilling fluid, a radially mounted shaft (5) connected to this and a rotary drill bit (6) and at least one slide bearing (exposed to the drilling fluid) 8) for the axial bearing of the shaft (5). The slide bearing (8) in turn comprises at least one track ring (9) supported on the shaft (5) and at least one support ring (10) which cooperates with a track ring (9) and is supported on the housing (1) and which has a plurality of circumferences has regularly distributed bearing segments (13) which are provided with a sliding body (14) which is supported against the supporting ring and can be tilted and axially displaced to a limited extent against the action of a spring force. The sliding body (14) is designed as a circular plate which carries on its underside a retaining pin (15) which engages with play in an axial bore (16) in the supporting ring (10) and which is opposite the supporting ring (10) by a spring assembly (17; 18) is supported with at least two plate springs (19, 20) stacked in opposite directions.
