Abstract

Abstract The backrest and seat inclination adjustment device (B) is mounted, seen from the backrest, behind the longitudinal mid-axis of the stand tube (1) so as to be swivellable on an axle (7) of the seat support (A; A'). The seat (3) is connected to the adjustment device (B) in an articulated manner in its rear region and at least one of the swivel points (5', 17) of the seat (3) has a radial clearance in relation to the swivel axle (7) of the adjustment device (B) on the seat support (A; A') so that, when it is adjusted, the seat (3) can execute an angular movement about its attachment point (5; 5', 21) on the seat support (A; A') and a relative movement in relation to the backrest. <IMAGE>
