Abstract Translated from German Polyacetale, erhältlich durch Umsetzung von a) Dialdehyden der Formel OHC - A n - CHO , in der A = C₁-C₄-Alkylen und bedeutet und n = 0 oder 1 ist, mit b) mindestens 3 OH-Gruppen enthaltenden Polyolcarbonsäuren, die 5 bis 7 C-Atome aufweisen, im Molverhältnis (a):(b) von 1:0,25 bis 4 in wäßrigen Medium in Gegenwart von sauren Katalysatoren.Polyacetals, obtainable by the implementation of a) Dialdehydes of the formula OHC - A n - CHO, in the A = C₁-C₄ alkylene and means and n = 0 or 1, with b) polyol carboxylic acids containing at least 3 OH groups and having 5 to 7 carbon atoms, in a molar ratio (a) :( b) of 1: 0.25 to 4 in an aqueous medium in the presence of acidic catalysts.
