Claim 2
Dependent Claim 167 words
A constant flow pressure responsive pulmotor characterized in that it comprises in a single unit mixing means for the proportioning of amounts of air and oxygen, means for the regulation of the flowrate fed to the ventilation conduit in which some valve means are provided for intercepting the flow at a maximum value previously set forth of the inhalation pressure (V MAX ) and humidifying and heating means controlled by a servo system, solenoid valve means inserted in the expiration conduit provided at its discharge end with valve means for discharging the expiration air at a value of the pressure corresponding to a minimum value (V MIN ), an electronic processing unit for the conversion of the keyed parameters into control parameters, keyboard means for keying said keyed parameters, monitoring means for the visualization of said controlled parameters and printing unit means for the transcription of said controlled parameters, said electronic processing unit being proviede with an information file for keying and running correctly the ventilation operation.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 112 words
A pressure responsive pulmotor according to claim 1, wherein the control board of said processing unit comprises knob means for the regulation of the oxygen percentage in the air-oxygen mixture and for the regulating of the flowrate of said mixture, push button means for keying the values of the inhalation pressure of the expiration pressure intended for the regulation of said valves V MAX and V MIN , knob means for the keying of the inhalation and the expiration times, knob means for keying the alarm values respectively for the maximum and the minimum pressure, and key means for the activation and disactivation of the video image and of the printing unit.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 49 words
A pressure responsive pulmotor according to claim 2, wherein said knob means for keying the oxygen percentage in the air-oxygen mixture and of the flowrate of said mixture are previously set forth for values of the oxygen percentage from 21 to 100 % and from 0 to 20 l/min.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 43 words
A pressure responsive pulmotor according to claim 3, wherein sound alarm means are provided which became active when the difference in the pressure level between the two circuits coming from the air source and the oxygen source exceeds the value of one atmosphere.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 43 words
A pressure responsive pulmotor according to each one of the claims 1-4 wherein said solenoid valve means are made up of a pinchcock solenoid valve which can be rapidly substituted and exerts its action on the outer surface of the expiration air conduit.
Claim 7
