Abstract

The invention relates to a device for rapidly taking pictures of an object (1) comprising a source (2) of laser light illuminating the object, a photosensitive film (3) and a fast deflector (5) arranged between the object. and the film and adapted to scan the image of the object along a line on said film. According to the invention, a Pockels cell (4) is arranged on the optical path between the object (1) and said rapid deflector (5), this cell being capable of being controlled by a sequence of electrical pulses during each scanning cycle of said fast reflector, so that a series of distinct images of the object is transmitted to said deflector. The invention is applicable especially to the optical analysis of rapid phenomena.
