Modified reactive resin, process for its preparation and its use
Abstract
The invention relates to a modified reactive resin with a content of 50 to 98% by weight of a liquid reactive resin or reactive resin mixture which can be processed to form thermosets, with a sufficient number of suitable reactive groups for the curing process and 2 to 50% by weight of one or more three-dimensionally crosslinked polyorganosiloxane rubbers. which are contained in the reaction resin matrix in finely divided form as polyorganosiloxane rubber particles with a diameter of 0.01 to 50 µm, together with small amounts of other auxiliaries. The surface of the rubber particles has reactive groups which, if appropriate, can react chemically with the reaction resin in the presence of auxiliaries serving as reaction mediators. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing the modified reactive resins and their use for producing fracture-resistant and impact-resistant, optionally molded thermosetting plastics, fiber-reinforced plastics, insulating materials and laminates.
