Abstract
Abstract A system for generating a logical display (12) of memory values in response to commands generated by a user for any one of a number of different versions of a program containing different control structures (20). A control structures descriptor file (30) stores a plurality of descriptors coded for describing all of the control structures (20) used by the program. These descriptors are accessed in an order specified by user commands. The accessed descriptors are interpreted to generate a logical display of the control structure data described by the descriptors for the program.

Claim 1
Independent Claim
90 words
A process for generating a logical display of memory values in response to commands generated by a user for any one of a number of different revisions of a program containing different control structures, said process comprising the steps of: storing a plurality of descriptors coded for describing all of the control structures used by said program, accessing said descriptors in an order specified by said user commands, and interpreting the accessed descriptors to generate a logical display of the control structure data described by said descriptors for the program.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
