Use of an adhesive for a cohesive dressing

Abstract

Abstract The cohesive dressing, whose individual layers or windings adhere only to each other and not to the skin, hair or clothing, consists of a surface structure (10) made of a woven fabric or another suitable material, in which the adhesive composition applied to one or both sides consists of an acrylic resin dispersion from the group of crosslinked or uncrosslinked polyacrylates, and can therefore be sterilised by the current sterilisation methods, without the characteristics of the dressing, such as air permeability, water vapour permeability, absorbency or the like, thereby being lost or impaired. <IMAGE>
