Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft neue, gegen HIV-Infektionen (AIDS) wirksame 3ʹ-fluorierte Nucleoside der Formel worin bedeuten: R¹ einen N-1-glykosidisch gebundenen Rest, der von Thymin, Uracil, einem 5-substituierten Uracil, Cytosin oder einem 5-substituierten Cytosinderi­vate abgeleitet ist, oder einen N-9-glykosidisch gebundenen Rest, der von 2-Fluoradenin, 2,6-Diamonpurin, 2-Amino­purin 6-Thioguanin oder 7-Deazaadenin abgeleitet ist, R² H oder OH und R³ OH, O-Acetyl, O-Palmitoyl, Triphosphat als freie Säure oder in Form entsprechender Alkali-, Ammo­nium- bzw. Alkylammoniumsalze oder eine Prekur­sor-Gruppe für die Hydroxygruppe, entsprechende pharmazeutische Mittel und deren Herstellung und Verwendung. The invention relates to new 3ʹ-fluorinated nucleosides of the formula which are effective against HIV infections (AIDS) in which mean: R¹ is an N-1-glycosidically bound residue which is derived from thymine, uracil, a 5-substituted uracil, cytosine or a 5-substituted cytosine derivative, or an N-9-glycosidically bound radical which is derived from 2-fluoradenine, 2,6-diamonpurine, 2-aminopurine, 6-thioguanine or 7-deazaadenine, R² H or OH and R³ OH, O-acetyl, O-palmitoyl, triphosphate as free acid or in the form of corresponding alkali, ammonium or alkylammonium salts or a precursor group for the hydroxy group, corresponding pharmaceutical agents and their manufacture and use. Ein besonders geeigneter Wirkstoff ist 2ʹ,2ʹ-Didesoxy-3ʹ-­fluorthymidin. A particularly suitable active ingredient is 2ʹ, 2ʹ-dideoxy-3ʹ-fluorothymidine.
