Claim 1
Independent Claim
153 words
Foot clamping structure for boots comprising a rigid shell, an inner liner and an inner sole placed between the bottom of the shell and the liner and fixed to the shell, characterized in that to a rigid portion of sais shell at least one band-like member is connected engaging the dorsum of the foot or of the inner liner, immediately beneath the malleolus articulation, said at least one band-like member being connected to a clamping device, actuatable from the outside of the shoe or boot and positioned in the front part or upper of the shoe or boot, said clamping device being actuatable between a first open position, in which said at least one band-like member is not pressing against the foot dorsum or the inner liner, and a second clamping position, in which said at least one band-like member is adjustably pressed against the immediately beneath foor dorsum or the inner liner.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
94 words
Foot clamping structure according to claim 1, characterized in that said at least one band-like member is connected to, particularly integrally formed with, said inner sole and embraces laterally the liner starting from the heel and extending upward to the dorsum part of the foot located immediately below the malleolus articulation, said at least one band-like member being formed in two separate half-bands at the zone of the ridge of the foot dorsum and means operated from the oustide of the boot for bringing near and opening the terminal edges of the two half-bands.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
47 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that said band-like member is shaped in such a manner as to surround the heel of the foot, said two half-bands extending upward in such a manner as to not interfere with the bony protuberances of the foot.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
26 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that there are provided two band-like members, the second of which is located at the metatarsal region.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
24 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that there is provided a front band-like member at the instep above the malleolus articulation.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
49 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that said clamping and unclamping means consist of a screw with opposed threadings which engage two nut-screw elements each of which is integral with an edge of a respective half-band, said screw being integral with a control and operating member.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
121 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said clamping and unclamping means consist of a flexible element having a first end integral with a fixing element secured to the terminal edge of a first half-band and the other end integral with the pivot pin of a control and operating lever, a sleeve element being fixed rigidly to the terminal edge of the other half-band and being mounted in such a manner as to run axially with respect to said flexible element, said lever being provided with a cam part designed to engage one end of said sleeve element in such a manner as to push it toward said fixing element when the lever is in the closed position.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
31 words
Clamping structure in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that it is used for shoes without liners and in which said at least one band-like member acts directly on the foot.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim
107 words
Foot clamping structure according to claim 1, characterized in that said at least one band-like member has one end fixed to the shell of the boot and the other end connected to a tie cable fixed to an anchoring member of said clamping device, said tie cable also engaging a movable member of said clamping device, said movable member being removable from the said fixed anchoring member of said clamping device, upon the latter is brought to the said clamping position, whereby a tension is applied to said tie cable and consequently said band-like member is clamped against the foot dorsum or the inner liner, if present.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim
99 words
Foot clamping structure according to claim 9, characterized in that further tie cable is fastened to said movable member of said clamping device, said further tie cable being in turn connected at the other end to the first edge of an half-band member the other edge of which is an chored to the inner sole of the shoe or boot, said half-band member embracing the foot part before the big toe, whereby in the said clamping device said half-band member keeps the foot or the inner liner to be clamped to the inner sole of the shoe or boot.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim
44 words
Foot clamping structure, according to claim 9,characterized in that a shaped flexible plate, following the profile of the dorsum of the foot from the malleolus down to the metatarsal area, is interposed between the said band like member and the dorsum of the foot.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim
30 words
Foot clamping structure according to claim 11, characterized in that said shaped flexible plate is interposed also between said half-band of claim 10 and the foot or the inner liner.
