Abstract

Abstract In a conversion device with an exciter, with a waveguide (27) and with an electronic device (35, 36) for processing microwave signals, the waveguide is constructed inside a compact, single-piece housing (13), the housing having at least one holder (15, 16), integrally formed on a longitudinal external wall, for the electronic device and having an integrated means for direct coupling between the waveguide and an output antenna (37, 38) of the electronic device. In this way, the object is achieved of reducing the production and installation cost and the space required for a conversion device while at the same time increasing the reliability. <IMAGE>
