Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 48 words
A process for delivering a composition on demand which comprises: incorporating said composition within a polymeric matrix, surrounding said composition and polymeric matrix with a liquid medium, and exposing said polymeric matrix to ultrasonic energy thereby to degrade said polymeric matrix and release said composition from said matrix.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 48 words
A process for delivering a composition on demand which comprises: incorporating said composition within a polymeric matrix, surrounding said composition and polymeric matrix with a liquid medium, and exposing said polymeric matrix to ultrasonic energy thereby to degrade said polymeric matrix and release said composition from said matrix.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 23 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said polymeric matrix and composition are implanted in vivo and said composition is a biologically active substance.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
The process of any one of claims 1 or 2 wherein said polymeric matrix is a polyanhydride.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 22 words
The process of any one of claims 1 or 2 wherein said polymeric matrix is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 13 words
The process of claim 2 wherein said biologically active substance is a drug.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 2 wherein said biologically active composition is insulin.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 11 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the composition is a fragrance.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 11 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said composition is a pheromone.
