Abstract Compositions useful in the manufacture of soft, heat sealable films and sheeting material of improved strength are prepared from blends of 30 to 80 wt% of an ethylene - methyl acrylate copolymer (EMA) and 70 to 20 wt% of a very low density ethylene polymer (VLDPE).
