Abstract Translated from German Es wird eine röntgenopake polymerisierbare Dentalmasse beschrieben, die ein oder mehrere ethylenisch ungesättigte polymerisierbare Monomere und/oder Polymere sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Füllstoffe, Pigmente, Initiatoren, gegebenenfalls Aktivatoren und gegebenenfalls Thixotropiehilfsmittel enthält und dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß sie zusätzlich ein schwerlösliches Schwermetallfluorid aus der Gruppe YF3 und komplexe Schwermetallfluoride der allgemeinen Formel M<II>M<IV>F6 enthält, wobei M<II> ein Calcium-, Strontium- oder Bariumion und M<IV> ein Titan-, Zirkon- oder Hafniumion bedeutet. Diese Füllmasse zeigt eine ausgezeichnete Röntgensichtbarkeit zusammen mit exzellenten optischen Eigenschaften.
