Abstract

A slatted frame with spring bars (4) elastically mounted in relation to a support frame (1) for reclining furniture has support pieces (5, 6) on the spring bars (4) near their ends, which between brackets (7) of the two cheeks (2, 3) of the Engage the support frame (1). Both the support pieces (5, 6) and the brackets (7) have bores (8 and 9) through which rubber cords (10, 11) are passed, which are clamped on the end faces of the support frame (1). The brackets (7) on the cheeks (2, 3) of the supporting frame (1) are arranged in the gaps between the female connectors (4) or the adjacent supporting pieces (5, 6) of the female connectors. The central axis of the bores (8) of the support pieces (5, 6) and that of the bores (9) of the brackets (7) are laterally offset from one another in a parallel plane to the lying plane, so that the rubber cords (10, 11) for central alignment of the female connectors ( 4) Follow a zigzag line. Additional rubber cords (15) can be guided parallel to the cheeks (2, 3) below the support pieces (5, 6) and near their end faces (Fig. 1).
