Abstract
Abstract Guard bar, especially for reinforcing motor vehicle doors, the said bar being connected to one of the door wall panels 7 in such a way that a composite carrier is produced whose one belt forms the door wall panel. In this arrangement, the metallic outer layers 7 and 2 are spaced by plastic intermediate layers 3. The inner metallic cover layer is preferably constructed as a U profile 2. It is also possible to provide the same construction on the inner door wall panel. <IMAGE>
