Abstract

Abstract Separator for aggregate which is suitable to separate heavy aggregate, even in the form of dust, from organic material, compost or other like wastes and comprises: - a separation vessel (32) with water, - an immersion device (13), - a first weir (15) cooperating with a rotary drum (16), and - withdrawal means (25) cooperating with the bottom of the separation vessel (32). System to separate aggregate from the organic fraction capable of being composted and obtained by treating solid urban wastes, or like wastes, passed through a trituration process and a riddle, in which system a separator (10) for aggregate is employed to separate the various parts and uses water and compressed air for the separation.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 15
Claim 1
Independent Claim 81 words
1 - Separator (10) for aggregate which is suitable to separate heavy aggregate, even in the form of dust, arriving from a trituration or riddling process, from organic material, compost or other like wastes, the separator being characterized in that it comprises in reciprocal cooperation: - a separation vessel (32) with water, - an immersion device (13), - a first weir (15) cooperating with a rotary drum (16), and - withdrawal means (25) cooperating with the bottom of the separation vessel (32).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 81 words
1 - Separator (10) for aggregate which is suitable to separate heavy aggregate, even in the form of dust, arriving from a trituration or riddling process, from organic material, compost or other like wastes, the separator being characterized in that it comprises in reciprocal cooperation: - a separation vessel (32) with water, - an immersion device (13), - a first weir (15) cooperating with a rotary drum (16), and - withdrawal means (25) cooperating with the bottom of the separation vessel (32).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 34 words
2 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in Claim 1, in which a dropping zone (12) for aggregate is comprised between a zone (22-24) for immission of water and the immersion device (13).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
3 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, in which the rotary drum (16) cooperates with a doctor knife (17) and a precipitation vessel (20).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 31 words
4 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in any claim hereinbefore, in which the precipitation vessel (20) comprises a second weir (19) and is connected to a collection vessel (29).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 32 words
5 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in any claim hereinbefore, in which a means (18) to extract heavy fines which cannot be composted is included in the precipitation vessel (20).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 25 words
6 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in any claim hereinbefore, in which the collection vessel (29) contains a means (30) to extract sludges.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 28 words
7 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in any claim hereinbefore, in which scrubber nozzles (23) are comprised in the lower part of the separation vessel (32).

Claim 13
Dependent Claim 43 words
12 - Separator (10) for aggregate as claimed in any claim hereinbefore, in which at least the surface flow of the water in the separation vessel (32) is a one-way flow towards the immersion device (13) and thereafter towards a first weir (15).
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 114 words
13 - System to separate aggregate from the organic fraction capable of being composted and obtained by treating solid urban wastes, or like wastes, passed through a trituration process and a riddle with a separation of the various parts, and by sending thereafter the fraction which can be composted to a maturing process after passing through a process of mixing with organic material of a greater piece size, and/or with biological sludges, and/or with material to initiate fermentation, and/or with an addition of water to adjust humidity, the system being characterized in that a separator (10) for aggregate which employs water and compressed air for the separation is used to separate the various parts.
