Abstract

Abstract A speech registration/recognition processing section (102, 104) is responsive to a speech input signal from a microphone (101) to selectively subject the speech input signal to a registration or a recognition processing, in which upon the registration processing the speech input signal is allowed to be stored as recognition data and upon the recognition processing the speech input signal is compared to the recognition data stored. A speech record/reproduction processing section (103, 105) is responsive to the speech input signal from the microphone to subject the speech input signal to a record/reproduction processing, in which upon the record processing the speech input signal is recorded as a record signal and upon the reproduction processing the record signal is delivered as a reproduction signal. A control section (107), in accordance with the registration or the recognition mode designation signal, is provided for setting the speech registration/recognition processing section (102, 104) to the registration or the recognition processing and for setting speech record/reproduction processing section (103, 105) to the record or the reproduction processing corresponding to the registration or the re-cognition processing at which the speech registration/recognition processing section (102, 104) is placed.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 241 words
A speech recognition system with an accurate recognition function, said speech recognition system comprising: microphone means (101) for producing a speech input signal to be registered or recognized; speech registration/recognition processing means (102, 104) responsive to the speech input signal from the microphone means (101) to selectively subject the speech input signal to a registration or a recognition processing, in which upon the registering processing the speech input signal is allowed to be stored as recognition data and upon the recognition processing the speech input signal is compared to the recognition data stored; speech record/reproduction processing means (103, 105) responsive to the speech input signal from the microphone means (101) to subject the speech input signal to a record/reproduction processing, in which upon the record processing the speech input signal is recorded as a record signal and upon the reproduction processing the record signal is delivered as a reproduction signal; speaker means (116) to which the reproduction signal is supplied; mode designation means (108a) for delivering a registration or a recognition mode designation signal; and control means (109), in accordance with the registration or the recognition mode designation signal, for setting the speech registration/recognition processing means (102, 104) to the registration or the recognition processing and for setting the speech record/reproduction processing means (103, 105) to a record or a reproduction processing corresponding to the registration or the recognition processing at which the speech registration/recognition processing means (102, 104) is placed.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 241 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 29 words
The speech recognition system according to claim 1, characterized in that said speech input signal to be registered or recognized is data associated with a call from a telephone.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 21 words
The speech recognition system according to claim 2, characterized in that said data associated with said call is a telephone number.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 23 words
The speech recognition system according to claim 2, characterized in that said data associated with said call is a name of a subscriber.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 29 words
The speech recognition system according to claim 1, characterized by further comprising display means (114) for displaying data associated with said speech input signal to be registered or recognized.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 29 words
The speech recognition system according to claim 3, characterized by further comprising transmitting means (112) for transmitting said telephone number data corresponding to said recognition data to an outside.
Claim 8
