Abstract
Abstract For the receipt of satellite television programmes, a primary radiator is provided in which the circular-polarised wave is converted, depending on the direction of rotation, into two waves in the TE01 and TE10 mode. To this end, the square waveguide (Q) is split into two rectangular waveguides by means of a stepped septum (5). Each of these rectangular waveguides (R1, R2) is bent in the plane of the H-field, so that two parallel cavity sides are produced which are arranged offset with respect to each other. By using identical shells (1, 2), the device can be produced very cost-effectively. <IMAGE>
