Abstract

Abstract An electrocardiographic electrode is held in close contact with the skin (M) for deriving a weak voltage therefrom. The electrode comprises a base member (12) having a central opening (13), a reinforcement member (14) bonded to the front surface of the base member to close the opening, and an electrode member (16) provided in the reinforcement member. The base member (12) is adhesive both on the back side (12b) to be held in contact with the skin and on the front side (12a) coupled to a lead connector (18).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 112 words
An electrocardiographic electrode to be held in close contact with man's skin for deriving a weak voltage from an inner part of the man comprising a viscous base member (12) to be held in close contact with the man's skin and having a central opening (13), a reinforcement member (14) bondet to the front surface of said viscous base member to close said opening, and an electrode member (15) provided in said reinforcement member, said viscous base member (12) with said opening (13) being viscous both on the back side (12b) to be held in close contact with the skin and on the front side (12a) coupled to said lead connector (18).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 112 words
An electrocardiographic electrode to be held in close contact with man's skin for deriving a weak voltage from an inner part of the man comprising a viscous base member (12) to be held in close contact with the man's skin and having a central opening (13), a reinforcement member (14) bondet to the front surface of said viscous base member to close said opening, and an electrode member (15) provided in said reinforcement member, said viscous base member (12) with said opening (13) being viscous both on the back side (12b) to be held in close contact with the skin and on the front side (12a) coupled to said lead connector (18).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 34 words
The electrocardiographic electrode according to claim 1, wherein said viscous base member (12) viscous on both front and back sides is made of a viscous foamed resin on both the front and back sides.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 33 words
The electrocardiographic electrode according to claim 1, wherein said viscous base member (12) viscous on both front and back sides is made from rubber sheets foamed independently on the front and back sides.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 32 words
The electrocardiographic electrode according to claim 1, wherein said viscous base member (12) viscous on both front and back sides is made of non-woven cloths on both the front and back sides.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 33 words
The electrocardiographic electrode according to claim 1, wherein said viscous base member (12) viscous on both front and back sides is made of viscous woven cloths on both the front and back sides.
