Abstract In order to achieve precisely coincident electrode structures on both surfaces of a film made, in particular, of PVDF coated with metallisation (2, 3), irradiation (17, 19) of the two surfaces is carried out with pulsed electromagnetic radiation (11) in a specially adapted optical apparatus (figure), in each case through a mask (15, 115). <IMAGE>
