Hyperfrequency circuit with a low parasitic capacitance
Abstract
The invention relates to a microwave circuit, produced in hybrid or integrated form, whose parasitic capacities are greatly reduced. A microwave circuit comprises, in addition to the components (2, 3), at least one metallization (4, 5, 8) for transferring components and at least one microstrip line formed by a metal track (6), on a first face of a dielectric substrate (1), and by a ground plane metallization (9), on a second face of the substrate. The microwave circuit is fixed to the base (13) of a box. In order to reduce the stray capacitances formed between metallizations (8, 9), the invention provides for local demetallization (15) of the second metallized face (9) of the substrate, directly above the transfer metallization (8), and introduce an air gap (16) between the demetallized substrate (15) and the base (13) of the housing. Application to microwave equipment circuits.
