Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft ein hämostatisches Material auf der Basis faserförmiger Teilchen eines Hämostatikums sowie Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. The invention relates to a hemostatic material based on fibrous particles of a hemostatic and to methods for its production. In dem hämostatischen Material liegt das Hämostatikum in einer mit einem Adhäsionsmittel räumlich vernetzten Struk­tur vor. Bevorzugte Hämostatika sind Carboxycellulose, mikrokristallines Collagen, Alginsäure sowie deren Alkali- und Calciumsalze; bevorzugte Adhäsionsmittel sind Methyl­cellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methylhydroxyethylcellu­lose und Methylhydroxypropylcellulose, wobei vorzugsweise 1 bis 10 Teilchen des Adhäsionsmittels auf 1 Teilchen des hämostatischen Mittels entfallen, was einem Gehalt von mindestens 1 Masse-% Adhäsionsmittel entspricht.
