Abstract Translated from German Ein Erweiterungsnetzwerk zur Erhöhung der Anzahl von Teilnehmeranschlüssen an ein passives optisches Bus­system mit m Gruppen (G₁...G m ) zu je m optischen Mischern (M₁...M m ). Die je Teilnehmer (Tln) individuell vorgesehenen Licht­sender (S₁...S n ) sind mit den ebenfalls individuell je Teilnehmer (Tln) vorgesehenen Lichtempfängern (E₁...E n ) über jeweils nur einen der Mischer nach Art eines vermaschten Netzes miteinander verbunden, so daß in dem optischen Pfad die Dämpfung nur eines Mischers eingefügt ist.
