Gemäß Erfindung ist der Ring elastisch verformbar und sind die Gabeln an zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Abschnitten der Ringinnenseite angeordnet. Das ermöglicht ein arbeitssparendes Einspannen - sogar mit bloß einer Hand - der Linsen, erlaubt eine große Durchmessertoleranz, und die Verwendung ein- und derselben Haltevorrichtung für mehrere Arbeitsvorgänge.
