A heating and/or air conditioning plant for motor vehicles with at least one blower (6) for controlling the quantity of air fed to the interior (44) of the motor vehicle and with at least one heatable heater (10) for controlling the temperature of the air fed to the interior (44) of the motor vehicle and with, disposed in the airstream to the interior of the motor vehicle, air distributing and air guiding elements for adjusting the temperature of the air fed to the driver's and passenger's sides, characterised in that at least one odour filter (5) is provided in the airstream to the vehicle interior (44) upstream of the fan (6) and in that at least one bypass (7) is provided to bypass the odour filter (5) and to feed air back from the vehicle interior (44) through a duct (54) which is connected upstream of the odour filter (5).
