Hiezu dient ein hohler Quer­träger (2), der seitlich in eine Absaugdüse (l) hineinragt. Die Absaugdüse (l) wird am obern Rand der Klosettschüssel (l4) durch die gleichen Befestigungsschrauben (l8) wie der Ringsitz (l6) festgehalten. Unangenehme Gerüche werden von der Mündung (l2) der Absaugdüse (l) über den Querträger (2) in das mit Aktivkohle versehene Geruchsvertilgungsgerät (6) hineingesogen. Der Querträger (2) kann links- oder rechtsseitig in die Absaugdüse (l) eingeschoben werden. Dadurch ist auch bei beschränkten Platzverhältnissen eine sichere, seitlich hängende Befestigung des Geruchsvertilgungsgeräten (2) möglich.
