Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 112 words
An information transmission and reception system, comprising: (a) a plurality of information elements, some of which generating information for use by the remainder thereof, grouped into information sources and information receivers, the number of the information elements in the information sources and in the information receivers being limited to no more than a given number; (b) a plurality of information transmission units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information sources; (c) a plurality of information reception units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information receivers; and (d) means for connecting electrically each of the information transmission units to at least a corresponding one of the information reception units.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 112 words
An information transmission and reception system, comprising: (a) a plurality of information elements, some of which generating information for use by the remainder thereof, grouped into information sources and information receivers, the number of the information elements in the information sources and in the information receivers being limited to no more than a given number; (b) a plurality of information transmission units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information sources; (c) a plurality of information reception units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information receivers; and (d) means for connecting electrically each of the information transmission units to at least a corresponding one of the information reception units.
Claim 3
Independent Claim 104 words
The system according to claim l, wherein each of the information transmission units includes parallel-to-serial converting means for converting the information in a parallel form from the corresponding information source into an electrical signal in a serial form and each of the information reception units includes serial-to-parallel converting means for converting the electrical signal in the serial form from said corresponding information transmission unit via said connecting means into the information in the parallel form, so that the given number to which the number of the information elements are limited depends on a bit capacity of each of said parallel-to-serial and serial-to-parallel converting means.
Claim 4
Independent Claim 50 words
The system according to claim l, wherein said connecting means comprises an electrical line extended between each of the information transmission units and the corresponding one of the information reception units for transmitting the information in a serial form from the information transmission unit to the corresponding information reception unit.
Claim 5
Independent Claim 55 words
The system according to claim l, wherein said connecting means comprises an electrical common line extended between the plurality of both information transmission and reception units for transmitting the information in a serial form from each of the information transmission units to the corresponding one of the information reception units in a time division mode.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 130 words
The system according to claim 4, said connecting means further comprises an address clock generator which generates and outputs a predetermined time series code signal to the plurality of the information transmission and reception units and wherein each of the information transmission and reception units includes an address coincidence circuit for determining whether an address allocated thereto coincides with an address specified according to the predetermined time series code signal from the address clock generator so that one of the transmission units transmits the information to at least one corresponding reception unit via the electrical common line when the address coincidence circuit in each of the transmission and corresponding reception units determines that the address allocated thereto coincides with the address specified according to the predetermined time series code signal.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 128 words
An information transmission and reception system for a vehicle, comprising: (a) a plurality of vehicle component information elements on related vehicle components, some of which generating information on the related vehicle components for use by the remainder thereof, grouped into information sources and information receivers, the number of the vehicle component information elements in the information sources and in the information receivers being limited to no more than a given number; (b) a plurality of information transmission units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information sources; (c) a plurality of information reception units, each connected electrically to corresponding one of the information receivers; and (d) means for connecting electrically each of the information transmission units to at least a corresponding one of the information reception units.
Claim 8
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 108 words
The system according to claim 6, wherein each of the information transmission and reception units includes a shift register for converting the information in a bit parallel form from the corresponding information source into an electrical signal in a bit serial form to transmit the information from the information source when installed in each information transmission unit and for converting the information in the bit serial form from the corresponding transmission unit into the information in the bit parallel form to send it to the corresponding information receiver when installed in each information reception unit, so that the given number depends on a bit capacity of said register.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 16 words
The system according to claim 7, wherein said register has the bit capacity of eight bits.
