Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 15
Claim 1
Independent Claim 40 words
A method of preparing an antithrombogenic medical material comprising heparinized collagen as an antithrombogenic component, which comprises the steps of bonding a protamine to a collagen with a polyepoxy compound, and heparinizing said collagen by bonding heparin to said protamine.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 40 words
A method of preparing an antithrombogenic medical material comprising heparinized collagen as an antithrombogenic component, which comprises the steps of bonding a protamine to a collagen with a polyepoxy compound, and heparinizing said collagen by bonding heparin to said protamine.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 19 words
A method according to claim 1, wherein the protamine is at least one of protamine sulfate and protamine hydrochloride.
Claim 4
Independent Claim 29 words
A method according to either of claims 1 and 2 wherein the polyepoxy compound is at least one glycol diglycidyl ether, polyol poly-glycidyl ether or dicarboxylic acid diglycidyl ester.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 15 words
A method according to claim 3, wherein the polyepoxy compound is polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether.
Claim 6
Independent Claim 26 words
A method according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the antithrombogenic medical material is a composite of a heparinized collagen and a synthetic polymer.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 32 words
A method according to claim 5, wherein the synthetic polymer material is selected from products prepared by weaving or knitting polyester fibers into the form of a tube, and plastic box parts.
Claim 8
Independent Claim 51 words
A method according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a substrate is subjected to a coating or impregnating treatment with a solution which contains a collagen and a protamine, and said substrate is subsequently immersed in an aqueous solution of a polyepoxy compound, and then immersed in aqueous heparin.
Claim 9
Independent Claim 43 words
A method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein a substrate is subjected to a coating or impregnating treatment with a solution containing a collagen, a protamine and a polyepoxy compound, and said substrate is further immersed in aqueous heparin.
Claim 10
Independent Claim 46 words
A method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein a substrate is subjected to a coating or impregnating treatment with a solution containing a collagen, a protamine and heparin, and said substrate is further immersed in an aqueous solution of a polyepoxy compound.
Claim 11
Independent Claim 63 words
A method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein a substrate is subjected to a coating or impregnating treatment with a solution containing a collagen, a protamine, a polyepoxy compound and heparin, and said substrate is allowed to stand until the bonding of the protamine to the collagen through the polyepoxy compound is completed, and the substrate is subsequently dried.
Claim 12
Independent Claim 33 words
A method according to any one of claims 7 to 10, wherein at least one of hyalauronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sufate is added to a solution containing at least a collagen.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 28 words
An antithrombogenic medical material comprising a heparinized collagen in which a protamine is bonded to the collagen via a polyepoxy compound, and heparin is bonded to the protamine.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 28 words
An antithrombogenic medical material comprising a heparinized collagen in which a protamine is bonded to the collagen via a polyepoxy compound, and heparin is bonded to the protamine.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 19 words
An antithrombogenic medical material according to claim 12 wherein the heparinized collagen is in association with a synthetic substrate.
