Seat belt safety buckle
Abstract
In a seat belt buckle for receiving and locking a tongue with a housing and an therein, a spring-loaded ejector insertion path for the tongue, with a guided in the buckle and cooperating with the tongue recess in the event of locking, which the tongue in an associated recess of the Closure holds, and a slide button in the housing transverse to the plane of movement of the bolt to release the lock, there is a problem that a shock protection in the plane of action of the slide button and possibly other actuating or securing members must be given in order to move the lock in the tongue plane and to prevent the resulting inertial forces from releasing the bolt. To solve this problem, it is proposed that in the actuating direction of the sliding button (23) a sliding button in the locking case (23) against accruing acceleration forces (arrows 44) and offset by a lever arm (29, 58) to the line of action of the sliding button (23) is offset mass (30) is provided.
