Eine Leistungsanpassung zwischen Generator und Gleichstrommotor ohne eine gesonderte Regeleinrichtung ist dadurch möglich, daß der Generator (2) bzw. sein Erregerkreis derartig ausgebildet ist, daß die in der Generatorwicklung (3) induzierte Spannung ohne gesonderte Regelvorrichtung eine steile gleichsinnige Abhängigkeit von der betriebsmäßigen Drehzahl aufweist.
