Abstract

Abstract This invention relates to a power system stabilizing apparatus for synchronous generator, which comprises two power system stabilizers for raising the stability of an electric power system, the characteristics of one thereof being preset so as to increase the braking power in the same way as in conventional one, while the other thereof being preset so as to increase the synchronizing power, so that phase compensation elements of the both power system stabilizers can be varied in accordance with the drift amount of the generator such as the revolution deviation of the rotor thereof, the output deviation thereof, the frequency deviation of the terminal voltage thereof, etc. thereby realizing high static and transcient stability.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 170 words
A power system stabilizing apparatus which adjusts output voltage of an automatic voltage regulator by an output of a power system stabilizer, being inputted the drift amount of a synchronous generator as the object to be controlled, and deviation of terminal voltage of said synchronous generator, thereby controlling the field current by giving the output of said automatic voltage regulator, comprising a drift amount judging circuit and first and second power system stabilizers, said first power stabilizer being inputted the signal relating to the revolution of said synchronous generator or the signal relating to the frequency of the terminal voltage of said synchronous generator and characteristics thereof being preset so as to increase the synchronizing power, while said second power stabilizer being inputted the signal relating to the output of said synchronous generator and characteristics thereof being preset so as to increase the braking power, and phase compensation elements of said both power system stabilizers being varied and adjusted according to the judging resul.t by said drift amount judging circuit.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 170 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 33 words
A power system stabilizing apparatus as set forth in claim 1, wherein said drift amount is the revolution deviation(rotational numbers), the frequency of the terminal voltage or the output of said synchronous generator.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 48 words
A power system stabilizing apparatus as set forth in claim 1, wherein said drift amount judging circuit advances the phase of said first power system stabilizer when the drift amount is large and delays the phase of said second power system stabilizer when the drift amount is small.
