Tubular heating element
Abstract
Abstract A tubular heating element in which a housing (6) is replaceably pushed into the end of the tubular shell, which housing contains a thermal protection switch (7) or a temperature sensor with characteristics matched to the application. The housing has a hole (11) on the end face facing the interior of the tubular heating element, into which, on being pushed in, there protrudes a rod-shaped element (3) which is embedded in the dielectric material of the tubular heating element and is electrically connected to the heating wire coil, thus producing an electrical connection to the thermal protection switch or to a connecting element projecting from the other end face of the housing. <IMAGE>
