In a card reader and writer for transferring data between a host computor and an IC card mounted on a card reader and writer, said IC card having IC memory means for storing data under a predetermined write-in condition, said card reader and writer comprising means for judging the write-in conditions attached to the IC cards and.means for . changing the write-in condition of the card reader and writer corresponding to the result of the judgement of the judging means.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
44 words
The card reader and writer according to claim 1, wherein the write-in condition of the IC card is a write-in voltage of the IC card and the judging means is a microprocessor for judging parameters stored in the memory means in the IC card.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
36 words
The card reader and writer according to claim 1, wherein the write-in condition is stored in the IC card electrically, mechanically or optically and the judging means judges the write-in condition by electrically, optically or mechanically.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
32 words
The card reader and writer according to claim 2, wherein the card reader and writer comprises a power supply which is supplyable various kinds of write-in voltage of the IC memory means.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
