Abstract

The motor comprises a rotor part in the form of a magnetic annular disc (5) and a set of elementary magnetic circuits (9, 10), each circuit comprising at least two flat, rectangular polar parts, arranged essentially radially and forming respective air gaps ( 11, 12) in which the disc (5) is placed. These air gaps are spaced radially and cooperate with two concentric annular zones of the disc. A control coil (13) is arranged in the space formed between said pole parts. This arrangement makes it possible to produce a motor having a high torque and a large number of steps per revolution for a minimum radial dimension.
