Abstract A method of manufacturing a single crystal of BaPb 1-x Bi x O 3 comprises dissolving the BaPb 1-x Bi x O 3 in an aqueous solution and subjecting the resulting solution to a hydrothermal process at a predetermined temperature and pressure.
