Claim 2
Dependent Claim 319 words
A seat bracket for chairs, in particular swivel work chairs, consisting of a base body (3; 20) having a support (6; 23) fastened at the end side for the force-locking connection to a central supporting leg (15) of the seat bracket a seat-plate fastening (2; 19) and a back-rest bracket (4; 21), as well as adjusting means for releasing predetermined functions of the seat bracket and its parts, in which respect the back-rest bracket (4; 21) is U-shaped and is conducted with its lower end region as far as approximately centrally underneath the seat-plate and has a transverse pin (8; 26) which hingedly connects the seat-plate fastening (2; 19), which is likewise U-shaped, at its rear end to the back-rest bracket (4; 21), whilst the front end of the seat-plate fastening (3; 14) is connected hingedly to the U-shaped base body (3; 20) by a further transverse pin (5; 22), in which respect the base body (3; 20) extends downwards at an acute angle to the seat-plate fastening (2; 19) and in which respect the base body (3; 20) carries a lower transverse pin (11; 25) which is movable in a slotted guide (10; 30, 31) of at least one connection member (7; 28, 29) which is connected to the back-rest bracket (4; 21) and in which respect a thrust means arranged coaxially to the lower transverse pin (11; 24) of the base body (3; 20) is provided for the force-locking connection of the connection member (7; 28, 29) to the base body (3; 20), characterised in that the back-rest bracket (4) has a further transverse pin (9,27) which is arranged underneath and set-back with regard to the first transverse pin (8, 26) and in that a spring (17, 32) is situated between the base body (3, 20) and the seat-plate fastening, in which respect the spring force forces the base body (3, 20) and the seat-plate fastening apart.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 26 words
A seat bracket for chairs according to claim 1, characterised in that the connection member (12) is designed in one piece with the back-rest bracket (4,18).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 74 words
A seat bracket for chairs according to claim 1, characterised in that the connection member (7) is designed as at least one lamella set and in which respect the lamellae are connected to the first transverse pin (8) of the back-rest bracket (4), to the second transverse pin (9) of the back-rest bracket (4) and have the slotted guide (10) for the reception of the lower transverse pin (11) of the base body (3).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 46 words
A seat bracket for chairs according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the thrust means between the seat-plate fastening (2) and the back-rest bracket (4) is a further spring (16) which forces the seat-plate fastening (2) and the back-rest bracket (4) apart.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 21 words
A seat bracket for chairs according to claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the springs (16, 17) are leg springs.
