Process for glueing together products of paper, foils etc., especially for marking sheets
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a process for glueing together products made of paper, plastics films, etc., especially for glueing together letter-sheets (12'), such as single-sheet letters (12), i.e. mailers. With such products it was hitherto necessary, if a closed envelope was to be formed, to apply an adhesive to certain predetermined areas, preferably edge zones (1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6; 4'), and dry it. On passing through an electrostatic copier or laser printer it was a disadvantage that, as a consequence of the heat exerted, the thermoplastics adhesive material was activated and caused damage or interference within the copier or printer. This disadvantage is avoided with the novel process in that the adhesive areas (1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6; 4') are produced by means of electrostatic charge images and in that the adhesive is a pulverulent toner composition as used in electrostatic copying, laser printing or the like. <IMAGE>
