Impact pulverizer for the size reduction of rock or the like
Abstract
Abstract In an approximately annular housing whose impact faces pointing inwards are formed preferably after the depositing of a layer of comminuted material by said material, a rotor (2) with axial entry opening is arranged on a vertical drive shaft. The rotor (2) has a base plate (9) with centric impact plate, a cover plate with centric recess and wings (11) between base plate (9) and cover plate. The sides of the wings (11) pointing towards the rotor axis are each provided with a pocket (17) for receiving comminuted material and each ends next to the pocket (17) in an ejection edge (24) on the rotor circumference. In order to protect the end (15) of the wing (11) a wear part which consists of a carrier body (12), attached to the wing (11), and having a hard metal armouring (13), is replaceably attached there, the first surface section (22) of the said armouring which adjoins the material receiving pocket (17) enclosing with a contact plane (B) of the edges of the material receiving pocket (17) an angle ( gamma ) of at least 180 DEG , preferably 195 DEG , so that impacting by rock particles is practically eliminated. As a result, a hard metal alloy with a WC portion of more than 91% can be used which permits service lifetimes of approximately 1000 hours. <IMAGE>
