Abstract

The aim is to produce a hammer brush holder system that is easy to manufacture and can be installed in a machine with just a few simple manipulations, with at least two ends of a brush in a brush bridge (3) that can be swiveled at one end and a tension spring (4) that holds the brushes (7, 8) at their other ends ) brush support arms (5, 6) pressed against a commutator (1) are created; for this purpose, the invention proposes to attach the brush support arms (5, 6) with sleeve-shaped ends (51, 61) to pins (31, 32) formed axially on the brush bridge (3) so that they can be locked axially; the two brush support arms (5, 6) are molded as parts of a one-piece plastic injection-molded part with a bridge web (9.) that holds the two brush support arms (5, 6) at a certain mutual distance "a" and can be broken out after the hammer brush holder system has been installed in the commutator motor ) connected. One application is particularly suitable for the machine production and assembly of commutator motors with a hammer brush holder system on fully automatic production lines.
