Independent Claim
168 words
Contact arrangement for low-voltage circuit- breakers, in particular current-limiting circuit- breakers, with a two-armed contact lever (5) which can be moved around a central bearing (13, 14) and is provided, at its ends on opposite sides of a longitudinal axis (12) crossing the rotational axis of the bearing, with in each case a contact piece (10, 11), a contact force spring (47, 48) being associated with each of the lever arms (8, 9), characterised by the following features : a) the bearing of the contact lever (5) has a bearing pin (13) and an elongated hole (14) which surrounds the bearing pin and has a longitudinal axis (15) which extends approximately at right angles to the longitudinal axis (12) of-the contact lever and b) the contact lever (5) has at least one stop face (16), extending approximately at right angles to its longitudinal axis (12), for a catch (20) which can be moved around the rotational axis and acts upon the contact lever in the switching off sense.

Claim 3
Dependent Claim
27 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the bearing pin (13) is fixed and the elongated hole (14) is arranged on the contact lever (5).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
35 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the contact lever (5) has two stop faces (16, 17) arranged symmetrically with respect to its centre, and in that two catches (20, 21) are present.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
58 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 1 or 3, characterised in that the catch (20) or the catches (20, 21) is or are arranged in relation to the contact lever (5) with a free run such that the contact lever (5) can pass into a break position with the position of the catch (20) or catches (20, 21) unchanged.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
32 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 1 or 3, characterised in that the catches (20, 21) are a component of a breaker shaft (22) which can be rotated around the bearing pin (13).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
48 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the contact force springs are constructed as torsion springs (47, 48) surrounding the bearing pin (13), one arm (51) resting against a countersurface on the breaker shaft (22) and the other arm (45) resting on the contact lever (5).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
67 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 6, characterised in that the two torsion springs (47, 48) are accommodated on both sides of the contact lever (5) and in a pocket (25) of a housing (1) carrying the contact arrangement, and in that the wall parts of the pocket (25) form the limit to slots (27, 28) for passage of the arms (8, 9) of the contact lever (5).
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
32 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 7, characterised in that the torsion springs (47, 48) act with one of their ends on sections of the contact lever (5) lying within the pocket (25).
Claim 10
Dependent Claim
42 words
Contact arrangement according to claim 7, characterised in that the contact lever (5) has near its centre, on the side thereof at which the contact pieces (10, 11) are disposed, sections (30, 31) in the form of an arc of a circle.
