Abstract 1. Rectractil, polyarticulated mechanism (1) serving as a connecting assembly between two end pieces (2, 3) one of which is considered referential characterized in that it comprises at least one elementary mechanism (4) consisting of two end pieces (5, 6), of which one is a referential part, and for the mutual connection of said end pieces (5, 6) at least three legs (7, 8, 9) situated in distinct planes and each being composed of two portions (10 and 11 or 12 and 13 or 14 and 15) each associated with, on the one hand, the other portion of the same leg by a joint similar to a ball joint (16, 17 and 18) and, on the other hand, a different end piece (5, 6) from that with which said other portion is associated by a joint comparable to a rotoid joint (either 19 or 20 or 21 or 22, or, finally, 23 or 24).
